Samsung has come up with a solution for those Galaxy S2 owners who have been crooning about their battery life on their high-end android smartphone with the release of the Extended Battery Kit. This new battery kit packs more juice for the heavy-duty users for more gaming and video hours. The reason it ts called a kit is because it comes with a replacement back cover.

The new battery is comes with an additional 350 mAH over the standard battery. The 2000mAH Extended battery comes with enough charge to power your phone for an entire day and more with normal usage. The battery right out of the box after the first day use might seem just a waste of money but once the battery cycle is done after  two days usage the battery shows what it can really do for your smartphone phone. The battery can even last for 2 days or more with scarce usage.

The extended battery kit comes with a few sacrifices to be made for its bigger capacity, as the battery is 1.5 mm thicker and of course heavier than the standard battery. This is where the replacement cover included in the kit plays its part to accommodate the new battery while adding thickness to the ultrathin Galaxy S2 waistline and grams to this ultralight smartphone. If you are willing to make these minor sacrifice then you are into a real treat.

The extended battery kit for Samsung Galaxy S2 is a must have accessory for S2 owners if you are willing to make some minor sacrifices. The only question then remains is why Samsung didn’t come with the extended  battery as their stock mobile phone battery? The answer is quite obviously to give the Galaxy S2 the size zero factor .
