Some very lucky shoppers have managed to get their hands on the Verizon edition of theĀ Galaxy Nexus. Engadget reports that Sean Bates and Dubya.T strolled into a BestBuy retail shop and picked up their very own Galaxy Nexus devices even though the official release date had been postponed from Dec 9th to an unspecified date.
As proof, Sean has uploaded a receipt of his purchase while Dubya has included shots of Verizon branded apps on the Galaxy Nexus screen.
The Galaxy Nexus is the Android Ice Cream Sandwich device featuring Android 4.0 and is the next Google flagship device. The ICS OS is a mix of Gingerbread and Honeycomb OSs which had been available for smartphones and tablets respectively. The release date for the Galaxy Nexus is still not available.
