Opera Mini 6.5 is now available for iOS, Blackberry, J2ME and Symbian S60 (Opera Mobile 11.5). The Android version was launched around 3 weeks ago. One of the prominent new features which comes with this update is the option to keep track of the amount of data you consume.
With many service providers changing back to limited data plans, data usage is no more an unlimited resource. The Data usage function is shown as a dedicated page within the browsers help menu. It shows the actual amount of data required, and the size of data received after processing by Opera. It also provides a percentage estimate of the data savings you’ve made.
