The SonyEricsson MW600 is a cool hi-fi Bluetooth music reciever with exceptional functionality. What sets it apart from the rest of the competition is the OLED screen, and the touch-sensitive volume control.
The OLED screen is so beautifully designed on the device that when the device is turned off it actually looks like a chrome lid. Simple and classy.
Touch
The touch sensitive volume control allows you to adjust the loudness with the swipe of a finger. Very cool functionality. And the swipe means very little accidental presses while it lies in your pocket.
Buttons
Play/Pause, Rewind and Forward work on all symbian phones and even the Nokia n900 thus verifying it’s n900 support.
The MW600 hi-fi player has a beautiful design and a very solid build. The chrome plating and white matt body blend very well with each other and doesn’t look cheap at all. Considering the price of this device this is indeed impressive.
Audio
While I haven’t had a chance to check it out with my SHP8500 high fidelity phones, the bundled ear phones provided by Sony Ericsson is pretty good even without any burn-in of the drivers. They are of the in-ear type.
Conclusion
As of now I haven’t found any problem with it and so I’d say it’s a
pretty good buy. You could check out the rest of their
bluetooth earphones here though I doubt you’ll find anything as impressive as this.
