Since the release of iOS 5 and the Apple iPhone 4S people the world over have been awestruck by the intuitive Siri App. A lot of high end Android users have also jumped onto the iPhone bandwagon — but was that necessary? Even if Android doesn’t have Siri, there are a lot of similar apps that provide equally performing functionality for alf the price.
Sonalight is one such app that allows you to send and receive text messages while driving. This is done by using voice recognition software. So it lets you to send messages without having to look at your phone or even touch it. Once the app is open it reads aloud any new messages received during that time.
The app opens if you call it by it’s name – Text by Voice. The video below shows an example where the developer send a message completely by voice.
The app looks to be pretty intuitive. The app not only allows you to send messages using voice, but it also allows you to react to any messages received. Upon receiving a message it tells you who sent the message and reads aloud the message.
You can get this app from the Android Store or visit the developers at Sonalight.
